Matomo is deactivated when you visit our website. Only when you actively consent, your usage behavior is recorded anonymously. Cookies are used for this purpose. The information generated by the cookie about the website usage is summarized in pseudonymous usage profiles. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website and to enable a needs-based design of our website.

Matomo records the following information by default: user IP address, date and time of the request, title of the visited page, URL of the visited page, URL of the page visited before the current page, used screen resolution, time in the user’s local timezone, files that were clicked and downloaded, links to an external domain that were clicked, page generation time, user’s location: country, region, city, approximate geographic latitude and longitude, main language of the browser used, user agent of the browser used.

The information is not passed on to third parties. In no case is the IP address linked with other data relating to the user. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
